The five R's

At Marshland school, we have school values called the five R's. Each R has a important meaning to it, which is important for our school.

Respect : Being respectful to the enviroment, your peers and teachers. For example this means, pushing in chairs, opening a door for somebody and just being kind and thoughtful of your actions.
Resilience: Resilience means never giving up even if its hard, to be resilient you must also have a growth mindset and a can do attitude.
Resourcefulness: Resourcefulness means using things around you to help with your learning, for example, talking to a fellow student for advice and not only just using a device for help, be creative.
Reciprocity: Reciprocity is basically just including others and being responsible with decisions and who you chose to work with.
Reflective: To reflect on future goals and how you could of improve for the future.

What school values do you have?

We made a imovie showing the five r's.

  1. Hi Mia E, Grace O, La'Niyah M and Holly H
What a great presentation about our 5 Rs! You have a good understanding of them.
I think the teachers in Pukeko and Kiwi would really appreciate having a look at this so they can share it with the little kids. It is clear and easy to follow!
